About Endrel
We build the home your API docs never had.
Endrel started from a frustration every developer knows: the documentation exists somewhere, but finding the version you can actually trust costs you half an afternoon. We thought that was worth fixing properly.

Our story
Born from a search that took too long.
Endrel began with a recurring scene on a product team: a back-end engineer ships an endpoint, drops the spec in a Slack thread, and moves on. A week later the front-end developer needs it, can't find it, and rebuilds half the integration from guesswork. QA tests against a third version that no longer exists. Everyone is working hard — off documentation that quietly disagreed.
The tools to write API docs are excellent. What was missing was a place to keep them: one home that imports specs from wherever they already live, stays in sync as APIs change, and tells you when something has drifted. So we set out to build it.
Founding Access is now open to 10 teams. They use Endrel free, work directly with us, and help decide what deserves to be built next. We'd rather earn a small group's trust completely than ship something loud and shallow.
What we believe
Principles we build on.
The values that guide every product decision we make.
Documentation is infrastructure
Docs aren't an afterthought to ship once and forget. Treated as living infrastructure, they save every team that depends on them.
One source of truth, always
If there are two answers to "what does this endpoint return," there are zero. We optimize relentlessly for a single, current truth.
Meet developers where they are
We import the formats you already use and fit the workflow you already have. Good tools adapt to teams, not the reverse.
Earn trust with accuracy
A doc tool is only as valuable as it is correct. Our AI review exists to keep what you read honest.
Quiet by default
We notify you when something genuinely needs attention — and stay out of the way the rest of the time.
Build with founding teams
The teams using Endrel now work directly with us and shape what it becomes.
Working with us
What Founding Access really means
An honest look at who is building Endrel, what works today, and what founding teams can expect.
01Who is building Endrel?
Endrel is founder-led by Nil Patel. Founding teams work directly with Nil rather than through a fictional customer-success layer or a manufactured executive team.
02What do you expect from a founding team?
Use Endrel on a real documentation workflow, tell us where it helps and where it gets in the way, and be willing to share direct feedback as the product changes. There is no expectation to become a case study or publicly endorse Endrel.
03How much of Endrel is usable today, and what is still being built?
You can create an account and enter the product today; Founding Access is not a waitlist. The core documentation workflows are available, while parts of collaboration, review, and product polish are still being refined with the first teams.
04Will founding teams continue receiving free access?
Founding Access is free today for the first 10 teams. We have not published long-term pricing or promised lifetime-free access. If that changes, founding teams will hear directly from us before new commercial terms affect them.
